Profiles require an exact company number published with a contract award. Each page keeps supplier aliases, public-sector buyers, notices, charity links and source dates attached.
Why are only some supplier profiles published?
A profile is created only when an award notice supplies an exact Companies House number. That prevents a familiar trading name from being attached to the wrong legal entity. The page can then compare published awards, buyer breadth, aliases and register status while retaining the notice and extract dates.
The figures describe held Contracts Finder notices, not invoices, audited expenditure, supplier performance or proof that every stated amount was paid. Framework ceilings, amendments and multi-supplier awards can overstate a simple cash interpretation. Name-only suppliers remain searchable in the notice explorer but do not receive a company profile.
