What the notice says

The overall objective is to conduct analysis of the international supply chain in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) space via discussions with the supplier and direct engagement at the Global Water Summit in May 2026, 18 - 20 May 2026, Madrid, Spain. We will understand whether parties are interested in the Major Water Infrastructure Programme, finalise our future engagement strategy and present to companies on findings from the DPC/SIPR O&M Risk Study (DPC and SIPR OM Risk Study - Final Presentation.pptx carried out in January 2025. Scope Phase 1 o Issue an email to the Major Projects Team outlining market assessment of the main international players likely to be interested in the UK market in four capability areas. o Support the Major Projects Team in planning for Global Water Summit in at least one face to face meeting at Ofwat's London office. o Attend the Global Water Summit alongside Major Projects Team colleagues to engage with as many of those organisations as we can in the two days of the summit. Any costs or expenses arising from the Supplier's attendance at the Global Water Summit shall not be reimbursed, irrespective of whether such attendance is required. o Following the summit make headline recommendations in a short PowerPoint report to the Major Projects Team to support development of a future engagement strategy. Phase 2 o Updated PowerPoint slides for external use explaining output of previous O&M work. • Update the slides to provide improved wording, definitions and graphics. • Share and finalise with Major Projects Team to include all key relevant comments from Ofwat. • Present at a one-hour long meeting with chosen Water. Companies to illustrate the Ofwat policy in the light of global delivery experience at an Ofwat office to be confirmed.
