International Deep-Sea Mining (IDSM) for CM (Critical Minerals), minerals with high economic vulnerability and a high global supply risk, is an area of international interest with multiple state actors sponsoring exploratory studies in the Clarion Clipperton Zone (CCZ) of the mid Pacific.
