The Contractor will be required to undertake the role of Principal Designer & Principal Contractor and fulfil their obligations in accordance with CDM 2015. The Contractor will be required to design and construct the permanent engineered highway retaining wall. The Contractor will be required to design and check temporary works as required e.g. provision of shoring for excavation. The Contractor should consider the design period required for the temporary and permanent works, including Technical Approval to CG300 and Design & Check Certification - considered to be a Category 0 structure.
